ADBC provides its members with a trusted platform for building relationships, exchanging knowledge, and advancing Danish-American commercial cooperation.
Our network brings together Danish and American companies, senior business leaders, policymakers, government representatives, and other stakeholders with an interest in strengthening trade and investment between the two countries.
A Senior-Level Danish-American Network & a Close Connection to the Royal Danish Embassy
- ADBC brings together leading Danish and American companies with established or growing interests in the transatlantic market. Member companies are typically represented by senior executives, creating valuable opportunities for peer-to-peer dialogue and long-term relationship-building.
- The ADBC secretariat is managed by the Royal Embassy of Denmark in Washington, D.C., and the Danish Ambassador is closely involved as chair of the Council.
- This relationship gives members a direct channel to the ADBC secretariat wider network in both the United States and Denmark.
Access to Member-Focused Events
- Members receive invitations to ADBC’s program of receptions, roundtable discussions, policy briefings, annual gatherings, and other networking opportunities.
- Many events are designed as trusted, closed-door forums where members can engage directly with business leaders, policymakers, government representatives, and subject-matter experts.
- Depending on the format and capacity of an event, members may also be able to invite colleagues, clients, or business partners. Selected events may be reserved for sponsoring members or a defined group of participants.
- Members may also receive invitations to relevant events hosted by the Embassy of Denmark.
Tailored Introductions and Meeting Support
- ADBC facilitates introductions between members on a case-by-case basis and helps connect companies with relevant organizations, authorities, and potential partners in the United States and Denmark.
- Where appropriate, the ADBC secretariat and the Embassy may also assist members in identifying contacts, arranging meetings, and navigating access to relevant public- and private-sector stakeholders.
Visibility and Thought Leadership
- ADBC creates opportunities to highlight the expertise, activities, and contributions of its members through its website, communications, events, and engagement with relevant business and government stakeholders.
- Sponsoring members may receive enhanced visibility and additional opportunities to contribute to ADBC’s programming and strategic discussions.
Member-Driven Programming
- ADBC’s activities are shaped by the interests and priorities of its members. Members are encouraged to propose relevant topics, speakers, roundtables, receptions, and other formats that can create value for the wider network.
- Where there is a strong connection to ADBC’s mission, members may also explore opportunities to develop activities in cooperation with ADBC and the Embassy. All activities are subject to relevance, capacity, availability, and approval.
Connections Across the United States
- ADBC supports cooperation among Danish-American business organizations and professional networks across the United States. This helps members build relationships beyond Washington, D.C., and connect with relevant communities in other markets and regions.
- Membership benefits and event access may vary according to membership level and the format of the individual activity.
