On September 17, the American-Danish Young Professionals (ADYP), Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce (SACC) Norwegian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) and British American Business Association hosted the first event after the summer holiday focusing on innovations in Biotech and Science.
At the event, Founder & Executive Director at Sounds Affects Mona Jhaveri gave a presentation of Sound Affects as an innovative crowdfunding platform. Sound Affects supports entrepreneurs who are working on promising cancer solutions but have difficulties attracting institutional funding. Sound Affects have collaborated with musical artists in order to make public awareness of a funding gap and raise money for innovators that help prevent, screen and detect cancer. A very engaged audience made it a truly insightful experience with a great discussion of the difficulties and the potentials of the platform.
After the presentation, the all the Young Professionals had a networking session to socialize, exchange ideas, and share common interests.
