On May 10 the EU Open House and Eurovision Song Contest Live Broadcast Party was hosted at the Embassy of Denmark.
This year we had the pleasure of welcoming a record number of visitors to our embassy (more than 4,800 people for EU Open House and approximately 450 for the Eurovision Song Contest Live Broadcast Party); an impressive record in light of the occasional heavy rain.
Whether they were busy learning about American-Danish Business Council partners, Copenhagen’s green goals and experiences, riding bikes and powering their own smoothie-bike-blender, or tasting cheese during the residence tour, we are sure all our visitors left the grounds feeling cheerful.
Also the American-Danish Business Council companies that had chosen to be represented at this unique event where very satisfied. “EU day provides us a fantastic venue to engage with the public, show them how biotechnology is changing our world and spotlight our proud Danish heritage. The Embassy is a great partner to Novozymes—they take care of the details and all we have to do is show up”, said Paige Donnell from Novozymes.
