The Danish-American Business Forum (an Associate member of ADBC) hosted a breakfast roundtable with the Minister for Trade and Development, along with US Ambassador to Denmark, Rufus Gifford, and Danish Ambassador to the US, Peter Taksøe-Jensen to hear their perspectives of DK-US relations both in relation to the MFA’s concrete growth initiatives and the TTIP agreement.

The Roundtable focused on:
• The vision for Denmark’s export and foreign direct investment strategy
• US-EU Transatlantic Trade & Investment Partnership (TTIP) and how it affects Danish companies
• The new Growth Initiative and the strategy for allocation of Trade Council funds to support the overall goals

There were many questions and the discussion was lively, both between the participants and panel – and also between the panelists.
