As of August 1st, Anna de Klauman succeeded Steen Steensen as Minister Counselor for Food and Agriculture.
Anna comes from a previous job in the Danish Agriculture & Food Council where she headed the Trade Department focusing on creating market access and market opportunities for member companies within the agriculture and food sector. Prior to that, Anna had experience working for the European Affairs Committee in the Danish Parliament. Later she worked for the Foreign Ministry dealing with EU coordination within environmental, agricultural and fishery policy.
Ms. Klauman’s work at the Embassy will build upon her wide network and experience working closely with both public authorities and private companies in solving regulatory and political challenges — thereby creating the best business opportunities for food and agricultural companies as possible. ADBC looks forward to working with her on food and agricultural issues and hopefully establishing a working group for food and beverages.
Ms. Klauman was educated at the Department of Political Science and Government, Aarhus University, Denmark and Sciences Po, Paris, France.
