Danfoss hosted a Breakfast roundtable discussion on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) negotiations with the Danish Minister for Trade and Development Cooperation, Mogens Jensen, and members of the American-Danish Business Council.
The event took place on the 9th of October 2014 in Baltimore at Danfoss NorthAmerica headquarters. At the meeting representatives from Danish companies had the opportunity to share company input regarding the TTIP negotiations with the Danish Minister and Ambassador Taksøe-Jensen. Furthermore members of ADBC were able to network with fellow business leaders and decision makers to discuss the commercial potential for Danish companies in the USA and the impact of the potential TTIP treaty between the EU and the US.
The group discussed different views and expectations regarding Danish companies exporting to the US. They also shared experiences and challenges around doing business in the US and ways TTIP may change conditions.
