Establishing the Congressional Friends of Denmark Caucus

The Embassy of Denmark and the American-Danish Business Council have been working on re-establishing the Congressional Friends of Denmark Caucus. We have put a great deal of effort into this effort, not least from the newly arrived Ambassador Lars Gert Lose, who has attended several important meetings with Members of Congress from various states.

Many US subsidiaries of Danish companies situated in various Congressional districts are reaching out to the Congressional Members in the districts in which they are situated. This outreach will undoubtedly further the business interests and concerns on a more local, and effective level. The Congressional Friends of Denmark Caucus will also be a way for even more Danish businesses to explore the possibilities of establishing themselves in the different districts in the US. The overall purpose of the Caucus will be to voice and advance issues affecting Danish company interests and challenges in the US.
