The American-Danish Business Council was very pleased to once again co-host the yearly Constitution Day Event at the Danish Embassy on June 5th. Danish veterans, companies and stakeholders from the US and Denmark attended the event and enjoyed the nice DC summer weather and atmosphere from the Ambassador’s residence with signature cocktails and Nordic cuisine to the tunes of live music. The evening’s highlight was the speeches from Primeminister Mette Frederiksen, Ambassador Christina Markus Lassen, Chairman of Denmark’s European Committee Steny Hoyer, who all spoke to the importance of a continuation of the close transatlantic cooperation between the US and Denmark.
