On Thursday, April 4Th, the Danish Embassy and the American-Danish Business Council hosted a beautiful spring reception at the residence to say goodbye to departing Ambassador, H.E. Lars G. Lose as well as his wife Mrs. Roenberg, whilst inviting our new Ambassador, H.E. Lone Dencker Wisborg, officially welcome to the US and Washington DC.

With more than 300 guests attending, the residence was filled with close friends of Denmark from all over the US where signature drinks named by various Danish footprints in the US, were served along with delicious Danish cuisines.

Among the many guests was Congressman Hoyer who provided a wonderful speech and a heartfelt appreciation and gratitude of the great work former Ambassador Mr. Lose has been carrying out the past years here in the US. H.E. Lone Wisborg were of cause also welcomed dearly by Congressman Hoyer, whom pointed out expectations of a great continual cooperation going forward.
