In September the Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen visited Washington DC for a two day business promotion. As a part of her visit the Embassy hosted an evening reception at the ambassador’s residence on September 20^th. The reception aimed to celebrate Danish-American business ties and political relations with a particular focus on environmental sustainability and the green transition. Several Danish and American business leaders and executives from a variety of industries attended the event, as well as several members from the US House of Representatives including House Majority Leader, Steny Hoyer and Congresswoman Chellie Pingree.
