On September 5th, the American-Danish Business Council, in partnership with the Royal Danish Embassy in Washington, D.C., hosted a reception to commemorate Denmark’s Flag Day, an occasion dedicated to honoring those who have served abroad on behalf of Denmark. The event was held at the residence of Ambassador Jesper Møller Sørensen and featured a keynote address by Her Royal Highness Princess Marie.

The evening paid tribute to both Danish and American veterans, while also highlighting the strong defense and security ties between Denmark and the United States. It underscored the enduring partnership between the two nations in global security efforts, from NATO missions to joint deployments in conflict zones.
