ADYP hosts event on Scandinavian Businesses in the Green Transition

On July 2, the American-Danish Young Professionals (ADYP), Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce (SACC) and Norwegian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) held an after-hours event focusing on Scandinavian businesses in the green transition. It examined what Scandinavian companies are doing to combat climate change and lead the way towards a greener future using renewable technology.

The Danish Wind Energy Advisory was represented by James Glennie CFA, who is Senior Commercial Advisor on Offshore Wind in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. He gave a presentation on Danish offshore technology, including trends and perspectives for the wind sector, to the audience of nearly one hundred young professionals with an interest in American and Danish relations. A very engaged audience made it a truly insightful experience.

After the presentation, ADYP had a networking session on the rooftop of the venue giving people the opportunity to socialize, exchange ideas, share common interests and grow professionally.
