On October 9, the American-Danish Business Council hosted a reception together with the Danish Industry Association and the Danish Royal Embassy, in conjunction to the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) 2023 in D.C. The Ambassador of Denmark to the United States, Jesper Møller Sørensen, opened up the doors to the residence for around 200 participants. The invited guests included administration officials, Danish and U.S. Defense Industry and high profile members of the military, including the Minister of Defense, Chief of the Army, Deputy Director of DALO. The purpose of the reception was to celebrate defense and industrial collaboration between Denmark and the U.S. and to profile Danish companies in the defense industrial base. During the reception, there were remarks by Ambassador Jesper Møller Sørensen, the Minister of Defense, Troels Lund Poulsen, His Royal Highness General Brigadier, Prince Joachim, and the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, Oksana Makarova.
