On Wednesday, February 6, the Embassy and ADBC marked the relaunch of the Congressional Friends of Denmark Caucus for the 116th Congress at a reception in the U.S. Capitol. Keynote speakers were the Danish Foreign Minister, Anders Samuelsen, and Caucus co-chair, Republican Congressman, Tom Cole.

The Caucus is the cornerstone of the Embassy’s Congressional outreach efforts, and it comprises a bipartisan group of Representatives, who have familial ties to Denmark, represent districts that have significant numbers of descendants of Danish immigrants or have large Danish business interests, and have a special affinity for Denmark and what the country represents.
