On the occasion of the 2015 SelectUSA Summit, Ambassador of Denmark to the United States Peter Taksøe-Jensen arranged an informal networking dinner on the evening of March 23rd. Members of American-Danish Business Council (ADBC), as well as the Danish SelectUSA delegation, led by U.S. Ambassador to Denmark, Rufus Gifford attended the reception and dinner.
The reception was a unique opportunity for the company representatives to engage both Ambassador Gifford and Ambassador Tasksoe-Jensen on trade and investment concerns and other issues of importance to their companies. More than 50 people from 30 organizations attended and were heard to express their appreciation for a lovely and informative event.
The Danish SelectUSA delegation
The U.S. Embassy in Copenhagen arranged for a group of 16 Danish companies to attend the SelectUSA summit and thereby enjoy networking opportunities, one-on-one meetings, moderated panels and discussions on the latest trends in business expansion to the U.S.
Beside the summit, the U.S. Embassy in Copenhagen arranged additional activities for the Danish delegation while in Washington.
