Networking Event

The American-Danish Business Council had the pleasure of inviting their Young Professional Members to a networking event at the Embassy the 25th of January 2017. 40 young American professionals joined for an evening of vibrant networking in addition to valuable company presentations.

Investing in the U.S.

The Young Professionals Network offers members the opportunity to join a social network for young students and professionals interested in fostering relations and increasing trade between the U.S. and Denmark. The theme for the night was “Investing in the U.S. – what’s in it for Scandinavian companies and how can they contribute to the competitive U.S. market?”. Representatives from Statoil, Skanska Infrastructure Development and Terma were present to talk on the subject.

Collaboration

The event hosted at the Embassy was in collaboration with DIS- Study abroad in Scandinavia, the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce of Washington, D.C. and Norwegian-American Chamber of Commerce, who all invited their members for an opportunity to network with other young professionals.
